I believe In Kissing

©Brigitta Huegel

When I was in Vienna in August, I lost my pink Pashmina - in a tram, (well... after visiting a Heurigen(Wine)-Lokal, with son and daughter-in-love). And as hard as I tried: I didn't get it back.
So sad, because I loved it very much, it had the perfect Pink.

"I believe in pink. I believe that laughing is the best calorie burner. I believe in kissing, kissing a lot. I believe in being strong when everything seems to be going wrong. I believe that happy girls are the prettiest girls. I believe that tomorrow is another day and I believe in miracles." Audrey Hepburn

Me too!

  1. What a shame that you lost your lovely pink Pashmina - I hope that another one comes your way one day.
Your belief is working for you as it did for Audrey Hepburn too.

    1. Thank you, Rosemary! The wonderful thing with that Pasmina was that it had two parts: pink overflowing into rose-petal. And it was very warm. And thank you for your compliment, makes me glow.

  2. Britta, I love to believe that kindness makes girls prettier too - I try to be kind but I don't know if I'm getting any prettier?!
    Greetings Maria xx

    1. Maria, I am absolutely convinced that kindness changes a face to prettiness because the eyes sparkle, the mouth smiles and the whole expression is attracting. If you do not believe me: look at those frozen botoxed faces of a lot of models, shudder.
I really believe that "pretty" is a question of radiance, and the sense of a feeling. And addind "witty" doesn't hurt, and that we are too! Greetings, Britta xxx

    1. Oh yes! (Hope you speak of my pashmina-loss, not my announcement that I will snatch your idea about Knut!)

    1. Thank you, Rachel - it was taken last year by my daughter-in-love (yes, she is married to my son, and in love, and in Law :-) , when we both spent our time - only the two of us! - in NY; marvellous. I am not allowed to post photos of "my children" - my photo of her would steal the show...

  5. Too bad about your Pashmina. I believe I like your quote.

    1. Thank you, Emma - I tried everything to get it back - the man at the lost-and-found-office even went after work to the house were they keep findings (normally I had to come to do it myself - but I was back in Germany...)

  6. Britta, do you know where this quote is from?

    1. Dear Shawn, I looked into the notebook I fill with quotes - but although I often take down the source, here I didn't. Might have been 'A.H. - an intimate portrait'; but I'm really not sure.
