Ah. The Troggs. I compared your video to a more recent one with them singing the same song. They sound much the same with just a bit of the lowering of voice that occurs with age.
Ah, I only know this version, Emma - which betwitched me by showing so many sexy young women: Brigitte Bardot, lovely Marylin Monroe, Twiggy, Queen Mom - all a good choice!
Mine too, Geo., mine too! Can sing it by heart - (not a very complicated sophisticated text, I fear -- and even as a young girl I felt that the singer was cheeky to ask for a sort of test - "I wanna know for sure" - before he - might be -- sure. Groovy!)
Hahaha - I saw the Sex Pistols yesterday in a Norwegian film (makes me think of the Beatles, Norwegian wood). Though I saw interesting photographs of Johnny Rotten in an exhibition - and I read that in January he had become 60 now, how odd.
Buon fine settimana anche a te, Britta:-)

DeleteDear Brigitta, Troggs! I haven't thought of them for so long. "Wild Thing", was a great favorite.

DeleteI feel honored. And also very glad I didn't inspire you to post a song by Tiny Tim or the Sex Pistols... :)
