  1. I love the color combination. Are those Kornblumenblau and poppies? I would love to spread a blanket there and take a nap.

  2. Dear Walk2write,
what a great idea! Yes, on this meadow in Hamburg's Botanical Garden Kornblumen and Poppies mix in a dream-like abundance - image of summer.

  3. My first impression was the photo was taken outside Emerald City in Oz. Hamburg was a remote second guess. Beautiful!

  4. Dear Geo,
thank you! At this time of the year I'm glad we don't need green spectacles, nature busily stitching beautiful tapestries.

  5. Beautiful! The colors remind me of a Monet painting.

Thank you for stopping by my blog and leaving a comment. I do appreciate it, and was glad to return the favor. After reading through some of your posts, I'm even more glad. Nice to meet you!

A couple comments on past posts: LOVE those winged shoes. I hope you feel well enough to wear them soon to dance through the streets of Berlin. ** There is a home in Atlanta (Georgia) called the Swan House, and the architecture of each room in the historical home (and home of the Atlanta Historical Society now) incorporates swans. Just lovely! It's been many years since I visited the place, but I may have to get my husband to take me there again soon so I can take some pictures.

Anyway, like I said, nice to meet you. Count me in as your newest groupie.

  6. Dear Susan,
thank you for your comment and joining! Isn't it great that Wikipedia gives us the possibility to look up for example Swan House - violà, I could read and see - such a beautiful mansion!
The shoes are from Adidas, by a Welsh designer, Jeff Banks: he managed to combine beauty and practical comfort, I think.
And thank you: I feel better.

Makes me want to lie down looking at the sky ...
How is with your laryngitis today?
    Have a wonderful week end.

  8. Dear Babi,
as you I find the cornflower child-like, the whole combination is cheerful. My throat becomes better, I can even speak again, in a deep voice like Zara Leander :-)
